1. Claude Code and Codex are checked step by step against what you asked. Other AI tools are recognised running, and their commands, skills and settings are checked.
2. Refusing an action before it runs, and handing over a decoy, work with Claude Code through its own hook system. For other agents, AgentWarden pauses the session instead. Containment spends its first week learning your work, changes nothing, and acts only once you turn it on. It never touches your terminal, shell or remote access, and it cannot undo what already ran.
